And here is my project for the blog hop:

I took a wooden sign from Michaels and painted it Antique Mum

On the picket fence I glued down Prima's Nature Garden  papers and fussy cut the fairy girl from the paper for the corner.

I then covered it with crochet lace, chipboard  butterflies, flowers and crystal sprays .

I applied Gesso on top of the flowers and chipboard elements

This will be a welcome sign for my front door.

The top half. I painted it with Martha Stewart's stucco paint and applied fussy cut images from the Prima paper. The wooden letters, I colored with  brushed corduroy distress ink. They are from Pink Paislee.

Here is a my most recent layout completed for the Get Sketchy Challenge on CCL (Creating the Crafty Life). These pictures were taken of my princess Pei Pei last spring. She is such an inquisitive cat. Used Prima flowers and bling on the page along with Cosmo Cricket papers. I love how it turned out. Thanks for looking:

CCL Spring Blog Hop

I am going to participate in my first ever blog hop (yay?). I am a little nervous but I am willing to give it a go and try new things. Well, the eyes of March are upon us. I cannot believe it is March already. We have been having a lot of rain lately here (over 9 inches for February), but we have needed it. The daffodils are up and blooming along with my irises and forsythia. I have been busy participating in several swaps at Creating the Crafty Life. If you are interested in a place to share ideas, obtain new skills, chat or just need a crafty home give them a try.
